Under where?

As you all know, Baby NinJa is a wee bit taller and a wee bit skinnier than most kids. So, anything she wears that is meant for her age group is too big and too short.

The too big issue I have no hope in correcting. But the too short issue has some remedies. One of which is getting a pettiskirt done to wear under her dresses and skirts. Now having never sewn clothes before, I was a bit nervous about trying this on my own. Plus, because it needed to be pretty lightweight, the cotton material that I bought was pretty difficult to sew with (thread tension and all that jazz).

But finally! It got done...with an elasticated waist and edging and everything! So proud of myself!
